IAIDQ Board of Directors and Advisors:

Position description
Vice President Publicity and Recruitment

Responsible to develop plans and oversee promotion and membership activities to recruit new members and to publicize the Association. The BoD should set stretch—yet obtainable—membership goals each year.

The goals of this VP position are to ensure:

  1. The presentation of a consistent brand image for the IAIDQ across all media
  2. The development of clearly communicated and communicable messages that describe and illustrate key elements of the IAIDQ's core brand values
  3. The continuous improvement of our brand message to ensure that it consistently meets or exceeds the expectations of members and the 'Information Consumer'.
  4. Frequent and effective publicity for all IAIDQ events or IAIDQ supported activities world wide.
  5. The recruitment of new members through joint initiatives with other VPs, CoPs or Partner organisations.

Areas of Responsibility

  1. Monthly compilation, editing and transmission of the IAIDQ monthly email update to all members
  2. Management of publication schedule for the Monthly email update, and supporting the VP Member Services and IAIDQ Newsletter Editorial team in meeting their publication schedules.
  3. Collation of an events calendar for all events relevant to the IAIDQ (IAIDQ events, CoP activities, 'events of interest') in a format that can be readily accessed by all other Board members or delegated authorities.
  4. Stewardship and continuous improvement of the Style Guide, web site style templates, all document templates (including fact sheets etc) and all standard IAIDQ presentations. This is done in collaboration with the VP Web Services.
  5. Stewardship of the 'public' aspects of our core brand values. The VP Publicity should strive to help all other BoD members and leaders within the IAIDQ remain consistent to these values and be seen to be acting in manners that are congruent to the stated values and ethics of the Association.
  6. In collaboration with the VP Member Services, provide support and assistance to CoPs in formation or active CoPs to plan and execute high profile events
  7. Develop and execute strategies to raise awareness of Information Quality and the IAIDQ
  8. Act as primary moderator for the IQTrainwrecks.com web site.
  9. Development of consistent brand merchandising and signage for IAIDQ and CoP organisations consistent with style guides and core brand image.
