Ground rules for Book Club meetings
- When speaking, always state your name first before your comments.
- It is OK to disagree and have different opinions — All should share their viewpoints with respect.
- The purpose of the discussion is not to convince others, but to learn by using inquiry to develop greater insights.
- All approaches are valid. Book Club members are to look at their own business needs and environment to apply in a way most effective for their companies.
- Comments should typically be limited to 1-2 minutes. (Managing that will be part of the moderator's responsibility, but participants should also be considerate.)
- Participants should mute their phone unless they are talking.
- The Book Club Meetings will start and end on time. We will not review what has already been said for people who come in late.
- Book Club members are encouraged to continue the conversation via email, using the Book Club distribution list.
