Danette McGilvray
Danette McGilvray is President and Principal of Granite
Falls Consulting, Inc., a firm specializing in information
quality management to support key business processes
around customer satisfaction, decision support, supply
chain management, and operational excellence. Past
projects include enterprise data integration programs,
data warehousing strategies and best practices for large-
scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) data
migrations for Fortune 500 organizations.
An accomplished program manager and facilitator, she is a respected expert on data profiling, metrics, quality, audits, benchmarking, and tool acquisition and implementation.
Danette is an invited speaker at conferences throughout the US and Europe, where she trains other industry experts in enterprise information management, change management and data stewardship in the context of large-scale company-wide programs. Danette is a member of DMReview.com's Ask the Expert panel, which allows business intelligence and data warehousing professionals to ask questions of industry leaders. She has been profiled in PC Week and HP Measure Magazine and was an invited delegate to the People's Republic of China to discuss roles and opportunities for women in the computer field.
For over ten years she led information quality initiatives at Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies. She is a founding member of the International Association for Information and Data Quality professionals and an active member of DAMA International.
Don Carlson
Mr. Carlson is a Senior Vice President leading business process related AML compliance programs at Bank of America. He leads a team focused on business process improvements using six sigma methods for the customer information program (CIP), know your customer information (KYC), AML risk rating and enhanced due diligence (EDD) processes. He has an engineering education and twenty five years experience in improving processes with the last seven years focused on improving business, data and information processes. He has spoken internationally on six sigma process improvements, data quality programs and supply chain data improvement.
