IAIDQ Book Club:

Welcome to the Home Page of the IAIDQ Book Club!

Next meeting:
9 November 2007 UTC

This exciting IAIDQ service is open to all IAIDQ members.

Our Purpose is Simple

How it Works

Book/article discussions through phone conference. Every 4-6 week, the Book Club will meet via one-hour phone conferences, to discuss selected books and articles.

Join the conference at no cost by phone from within the USA or by VOIP from other countries.

Broad and thought-provoking readings. Though we expect most selected readings to deal directly with core information/data quality topics, general interest books of importance to the information/data quality professional will also be recommended. For example, our reading list could include any of the several data quality books already published, as well as classics such as The New Economics, by Deming and Leading Change, by Kotter.

Materials will range from published papers and articles, whole books, or specific chapters in several books, dealing with the same topic, such as measuring data quality, or information governance.

Reading Guides. Shortly after a book or article is selected, a brief list of questions about the material will be made available to all Book Club Members. Each reading guide will aim to stimulate and enhance our understanding and analysis of the materials we are reading.

Book Club Mailing list (aka list serve). To further facilitate communication among Book Club members, a specific IAIDQ mailing list has been set-up to encourage discussions and conversations between Book Club meetings.
